The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Dormaa Central, Hon. Dominic Adoma Ameyaw, along with the Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. John Kwame Adu Jack, and the Assembly Staff, undertook an extensive monitoring and supervision tour of various ongoing projects within the Municipality. The groundbreaking ceremony for these projects occurred in November 2025.

The projects include four health infrastructure developments in four separate communities, which the MP initiated 2 of them, and four educational infrastructure projects, with one initiated by the MP, alongside the renovation of other existing projects.

During the visit, Hon. Dominic Adoma Ameyaw stated that they have thoroughly assessed the current status of each initiative, engaged with the Assembly engineer, site workers, and project managers to gain insights and address any potential challenges.

He noted that nearly all the projects have reached an advanced stage of completion, expressing optimism about their completion within the next three to four months. He mentioned that contractors were given six months to complete each project, but their dedication on site provides hope that some projects will be completed ahead of schedule, thereby enhancing development in the Dormaa Central Municipality. He expressed gratitude to the NDC government, the local government minister, the MP for the Constituency, Nananom, and other stakeholders for their significant contributions toward the progress and development of Dormaa Central.

Hon. Dominic Adoma Ameyaw added that substantial efforts are underway to refurbish the official Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) residence, which has been neglected for the past nine years during the NPP administration.

He said a borehole has been drilled and mechanized, and the building is undergoing re-roofing. He stated that the contractor has been allotted a period of three to four months to complete the project, enabling the MCE to move into the official residence. Furthermore, he mentioned that similar renovation works are being implemented at the old Municipal Assembly Block with the aim of creating additional office spaces. This initiative is intended to bring various government agencies closer to the Assembly, thereby enhancing productivity and work efficiency.

The MCE expressed that the NDC government is dedicated to finalizing the Agenda 111 projects inherited from the Akufo Addo-led New Patriotic Party administration. Furthermore, in his capacity as the Municipal Chief Executive, he pledged to intensify his efforts to guarantee the completion of the Dormaa Central share of the Agenda 111 hospitals located at Amasu, thereby bolstering the healthcare services provided by the Dormaa Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital.
